MyMemoryMentor LLC (“MyMemoryMentor”, “MMM”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) takes the protection of personal information seriously. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you access or use our websites, applications, and services (collectively, the “Services”).

In this Privacy Policy, the following terms shall have the meanings ascribed to them below:

  • Customers: Persons (such as practitioners, educators, psychologists or parents) or entities (such as schools, clinics or companies) that have entered into a commercial relationship with MyMemoryMentor to use the Services.
  • Data Controller / Controller: A party that determines the purposes and means of processing Personal Data.
  • Data Processor / Processor: A party that processes Personal Data on behalf of the Controller and only on documented instructions.
  • Data Subject: The individual to whom Personal Data relates.
  • Service Providers: Third-party vendors that provide hosting, analytics, communications, payments, security, or other operational services.
  • Personal Data: Any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual.
  • Processing: Any operation performed on Personal Data, including collection, storage, use, disclosure, or deletion.
  • Services: MyMemoryMentor’s suite of web-based applications, tools, assessments, and related offerings.
  • Users / Visitors: Individuals who visit the Website or interact with our Services.
  • Website: www.mymemorymentor.com and other websites operated by MyMemoryMentor that link to this Policy.

It is our policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while using our Services. A link to this Privacy Policy is also available within the “Dashboard” of our web application.

We process two main types of Personal Data:

  • Customer Data – Personal Data that forms part of the data uploaded by our Customers and their end-users on the MyMemoryMentor application.
  • Other Data – Personal Data about our Customers, Users, Visitors, and other individuals that is collected and processed directly by us.

Our Customers act as the Data Controller of the Customer Data that they upload to our platform, and MyMemoryMentor acts solely as the Data Processor for such data. For all Other Data that we collect and process directly, MyMemoryMentor acts as the Data Controller.

MyMemoryMentor processes Customer Data solely on the documented instructions of the Customer and in accordance with a Data Processing Agreement (DPA).

  • We do not determine the purpose of Customer Data processing
  • We do not use Customer Data for our own analytics or marketing
  • We assist Customers with Data Subject requests as required by law

We use “cookies” to help us identify and track visitors, their usage of our Website, and their website access preferences. A cookie is a small piece of data that our Website stores on your computer and accesses each time you visit, so we can understand how you use our Website. Personal Data is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy or as required by law. Customer Data is retained according to Customer instructions and contractual obligations.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures including encryption, access controls, and vendor due diligence to protect Personal Data.

Data Subjects have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing.

MyMemoryMentor is not an educational institution and does not determine the purposes or means of processing education records under the U.S. Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). When our Services are used by schools or educational institutions, MyMemoryMentor acts as a service provider or processor to the institution, which remains the FERPA-covered entity and Data Controller.

MyMemoryMentor does not knowingly collect Personal Data directly from children under the age of 13. All child-related data is provided by authorized adults acting as Controllers. If Personal Data is collected in violation of COPPA, it will be deleted promptly.

Data may be processed outside the UK or EEA. Where required, appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses are used.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Updates will be posted on this page.

You may lodge complaints with your local supervisory authority or the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). We encourage contacting us first to resolve concerns.
